The USB cable is only 11-inch in length, so some people may find problems with it. Also Western Digital My Passport Elite 320GB comes up with only a USB cable and it doesn’t have a Power cable along with it. So, you need to buy one if your computer is not able to power it.
You can see 4 LEDs just near the port. They are the activity indicators. When some process is being happening inside the hard disk drive like copying file, moving files etc, then you can see those LEDs blinking one after the other. They also inform us about amount of storage space Free in the drive. Each of the indicators show 25 % of the drive capacity. So, if two of the LEDs are full or if they are ON, then 50 % of the capacity is used and 50 % is Free to be used.
