The Palm Centro is the lightest and smallest Palm smartphone so far. In 4.2 ounces, with the dimensions 2.11 x 0.73 x 4.22 inches, it’s compact but chock full of features
For messaging functions, the Palm Centro enables SMS, MMS, instant messaging, and e-mail.
Audio functions support MP3, AAC, and AAC plus. It has a built-in 2.5 mm speaker. There’s also a microphone for recording audio.
It has a 1.3 megapixels camera with digital zoom enabled, but it doesn’t have flash. It does allow streaming video and video calling conference.
Its vendor-stated talk time is around 3 hours while its standby time is about 12 hours. Its average battery life, however, is 4 hours.

In regards to the memory storage, it has 65 MB available, and it supports up to 4 GB for microSD cards.
Other features include:
Calendar
Bluetooth
USB 1
Infrared
Touch screen
Stylus
Lotus notes
Includes DocumentsToGo (reads MS Office documents, but doesn’t display Excel and Powerpoint documents very well)
The Centro has a few drawbacks. The first one is its smaller QWERTY keypad. The smaller phone gadget size is trendy, as the Centro is targeted at a younger demographic, but it doesn’t allow for a bigger, more comfortable keypad. It feels cramped, especially in dialing numbers. Secondly, calling quality is not that good. The sound is not transmitted very well, as it sounds a bit tinny and subdued. However, for its price, it has great functionality among other gadgets in its range.
Don't miss this out!
