Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition, is Nokia’s latest Nseries device with WiMAX networks. With it, you can browse internet as if you are browsing in a broadband connection. The speed of WiMAX is upto 2-4 Mbps per user with the highest speed rates at about 10 Mbps.
Only in United States, it is expected to be available at first, that also during the middle of 2008 in areas where the WiMAX connectivity is available.
Nokia N810 is bundled with a media player. The internal memory capacity of this device is 2 GB and it can be easily upgraded to 10 GB. This can be achieved by providing it with an additional microSD memory card. Thus a large amount of audio and video files can be stored.
At conditions when WiMAX network is not available, internet can be accessed over Wi-Fi or pairing it to another compatible mobile phone device using the bluetooth technology.
