With Media Bank ME-747AP, you can watch your favourite movies that are stored on your computer in your TV. It is really helpful for people like me who are lazy to burn the movies that are in the DivX format onto a DVD. This cool device is TV compatible and it comes with a Hard Disk Drive enclosure of 3.5 inch. Power adapter, USB cable, audio and video cable, remote control, Software CD, and user manual are the other things that comes bundled with it.
The main component of Media Bank ME-747AP is the 3.5 inch HDD enclosure, in which the hard disk can be fitted easily after it is screwed to the internal chassis. It comes with a Type B USB jack, and also a Type A to Type B cable so as to connect it to a PC. We have tested it with a Seagate Hard disk and everything worked fine.
We can connect it to a TV using the standard composite video and stereo audio cables. First we have to connect it with the TV and then switch to the AV mode, then you can see the interface. It is similar to the interface of the Philips DVD players interface.
We successfully watched the movies that where in the Divx and ASF formats but we couldn’t play the MP4, WMV, and MKV files.
