HTC Advantage Review

HTC Advantage Review
Multi-function phones have been in the market for quite some time now and regular people are wary of the usability of these types of phones. The HTC Advantage is one of these multi-function phones such that it is a combination of a handheld, a smart phone, and a UMPC.

If you plan to use the HTC Advantage as a phone, one very disappointing feature about it is that you will not be able to bring it up to your ears. The only way you make and answer a call is through a headset or through its speakerphone. For most of the time, the HTC Advantage is more of like a laptop replacement than a phone. It is huge and heavy and may not suit normal users of handhelds.

One good thing about the HTC Advantage is that it has a very large screen which justifies its weight. It also has an 8GB hard drive which is not bad at all for a PDA. You will not find antennas in the HTC Advantage because they are well-hidden. Different ports for headset, power, and sync are also available in the HTC Advantage.

The keypad of the HTC Advantage is also one thing to be concerned about since it has a very slow response time. The software included in the HTC Advantage is beyond functional because aside from the standard Microsoft Office and Web browsing services, a lot of other software is added to the HTC Advantage.

The HTC Advantage is a pricey handheld and is only good for those who have the money to get one. It will not disappoint the user especially if he/she is after carrying one just for the sake of status symbol.
