Asus has just released a more affordable choice in notebook computing through its Asus EEE PC series. Much hype has been created by this laptop because of its size and affordability. Now, more and more people want an Asus EEE PC for themselves. If you are thinking of getting one, here are some things that you might want to know before buying an EEE Pc.

Design

The build of the EEE PC is something that you can expect of with its price. This does not mean that it is of poor quality, but it certainly can get more improvements since it tend to be shaky. There are different colors to choose from with the EEE PC, which can make it very attractive. The EEE PC’s finish feels like plastic but nevertheless, for the undiscriminating few, it will do just fine.
Performance

The Intel 900Mhz processor of the EEE PC does a remarkable job in processing data. The EEE PC is bundled with a customized Linux operating system and proves to be very user-friendly with all the software installed. The EEE PC is also Wi-Fi capable.

The EEE PC’s 7” inch screen will surely have the user squinting for a while before getting used to it, but nevertheless, brightness and color is acceptable. The keyboard will prove to be a problem for most users because it is definitely small. Pressing the wrong key or two keys at the same time occurs almost always because of its size. Touchpad works just fine. Sounds are acceptable for a notebook of EEE PC’s size.

Overall, Asus EEE PC is quiet – only a small amount of noise can be heard from its fan while cooling itself.
