Today I am going to review the gadget that is the most-discussed, most-sold etc. Let’s start with the physical aspects. There really isn’t much to the iPhone in terms of physical controls and features. It weighs a somewhat hefty 145g (5.1oz) and measures up at 115mm x 61mm x 12mm (4.5″ x 2.4″ x .47″). There is almost nothing in front except the screen and a navigation button. Everything you with the phone, you do it with the screen and not with buttons.
The design is beautiful, though. Apple has created another piece of high-tech jewelry. Some fogies of advancing years have suggested the initial price point of $499 is too high. No, 499$ is the right price for this phone. It’s even a bargain!
The battery uptime is good:
• Talk time: Up to 8 hours
• Standby time: Up to 250 hours
• Internet use: Up to 6 hours
• Video playback: Up to 7 hours
• Audio playback: Up to 24 hours
iPhone is able to store over 10x more then an average phone would be able to. The camera (2 Mega Pixel) is of course implemented so Apple writes “High-quality camera” in the advertisments. Its camera isn’t much of a WOW! but it’s okay.
The music, the videos and all the media is pretty similar to the famous Apple iPod
iPhone is missing one thing - a keyboard. With a keyboard, iPhone would be the perfect phone.
Overall, it worths the 499$ spent on it.
